This OEM charger is fantastic compared to the generic chargers that I have purchased in the past. It charges the phone really fast and even has a handy light built into the end that plugs into the phone.I would highly recommend this item.
I called 818-782-7400 four different times. The cost of this charger was under $10.00, so it is not so much the money as about the companies people that talk with you about returns. I am writing this review about CCMACCESSORIES online products through Amazon.com. I called back and finally talked with one of there reps. I would never buy from them again nor would I accept any item that they wanted to give me. The first two was a voice recoding that you could not even hear. This CCMACCESSORIES may have a 96% rating but must have had many friends or employee's write some of there reviews.
Please be very careful if buying from this company no matter what they are rated on there site. I am sure the charger is good but it is the wrong type for my cellphone. I can see through the clear plastic container that the end does not fit my cellphone. The two other times I called I was treated rudely by the lady that answered the phone, she transferred me and was disconnected. He was also rude, tried to tell me the charger would work for my phone, and would not give me a RMA number to send it back.I am in my 50's and this is the first review I have written, and have bought through Amazon.com (who I like) for years. Sadly the prongs that attach to my w580i broke off and I can no longer use it. This OEM charger has a light and a pass through feature which are cool. The price is also very good too so it's supposed to be a no brainer. I agree with other users that it seems like this product is much easier to break than the adapters which came with the phone. Now I resent this poor design and the Sony engineers should have come up with a better adapter.
Works like a charm and did not break like the generic piece of doo doo that I purchased previously that after I plugged in one or twice in the car came apart.
Its a shame because the pass through feature and light are cool features not usually found on generic adapters. We bought 2 of these and both broke within a few months of use. It seems that the plastic tabs that click into the phone are made of a more fragile plastic than the accessory cables that came with the phone. We've since bought 2 generic adapters which have not broken in 2 years of use so it has to be the plastic on these Sony Ericsson branded adapters that is weak. You've been warned.
